My Vision

Why did I become an accountant? To be honest, it wasn’t something I originally envisioned for myself. Growing up, I aspired to be a preschool teacher, but life led me down a different path. After earning my CPA, CA designation in 2015 with a Big 4 accounting firm, I found a way to bridge my passions together by becoming a full-time educator and continuing my work as a financial consultant for local small businesses.

I take pride in being an accountant. While the word 'accountant' may evoke different reactions for others, to me, it represents someone who adds value. An accountant may not always have an immediate answer, but brings a strong technical foundation, sharp problem-solving skills, and the resourcefulness to identify and recommend value-added solutions. Even on an off day.

While I pursue my various passions as an educator, tax practitioner, financial literacy coach, travel enthusiast, and proud dog mom, I remain committed to playing my small part in improving global financial literacy, thereby helping empower individuals to make informed financial decisions.

My Philosophy

  1. Every individual should have a fundamental understanding of financial literacy to make informed life and business decisions.

  2. Every individual should fully understand any document or agreement before signing their name to it.
